Ingredients
500gparsnips
1tbspflour
sunflower oil
sea salt
2tbsphoney
Instructions
Peel and slice the parsnips lengthways.
Par boil in a saucepan for around 7 minutes and drain. Allow to steam dry.
Place the parsnips back in the pan and toss in the flour along with a good pinch of salt, drizzle over the oil and shake until coated.
Place the parsnips in the air fryer at 180C for 15 minutes or until they’re golden and crisp.
Drizzle the honey all over the parsnips and air fry for a further 5 minutes.
Notes
To get ahead, you can par-boil the parsnips, steam them and toss them with the flour ahead of time to help you juggle different side dishes.
