Sometimes you just want a sweet treat but if you are trying to eat more wholesome, nutritious foods, this can sometimes be a little tricky. This protein chocolate mousse ticks all those boxes. It’s super simple – takes under ten minutes to make and then it just needs to chill in the fridge for an hour. Unlike a classic chocolate mousse, it doesn’t need to set overnight. I like to serve mine in little coupes with some fresh raspberries on top. You really can’t taste the tofu, it’s just a thick, rich, creamy pud. It’s also accidentally vegan! Win win.

Protein Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 300 g silken tofu
- 180 g dark chocolate, melted
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup, to taste
- Pinch of salt, optional
- Raspberries, to serve
Instructions
- Drain the liquid from the tofu and then pop everything into a blender. I use my nutribullet for this.
- Blend until thick and creamy and well combined. Pour into two serving glasses and chill in the fridge for an hour.
- Top with fresh raspberries and enjoy!
